Helping Children With Sensory Integration

Sensory Integration

Sensory integration is how our brains make sense of information from our senses – touch, movement, sights, sounds, and more – so we can take part in everyday life.

What is a Sensory Integration Practitioner?

A sensory integration practitioner looks at how a child’s sensory system affects how they play, learn, and manage daily routines, and uses gentle, targeted activities to support them.

Sara and I are training in this specialist approach because we know it helps us understand each child’s unique needs even better and give them the most meaningful support.

We’re excited to start offering sensory integration assessments and therapy
very soon!
