Services And Fees

At Serennu Therapies, you don’t have to wait months to access specialist support.

We offer flexible, in-person sessions across West Wales and online appointments throughout the UK, giving you fast access to experienced Speech and Language Therapists who will support your child’s unique journey, every step of the way.

Your child’s journey with us begins with a thorough assessment to help us understand their communication strengths, needs, and preferences.

Initial Assessment – £285

  • Review of your completed Pre-Assessment Questionnaire and case history information

  • 60-minute assessment appointment, in person or virtual

  • Comprehensive data gathering, analysis, preparation and follow-up work

  • A 30-minute parent feedback conversation with personalised advice, practical strategies, and time to ask questions

  • Joint discussion of next steps

    Where a second session in a second setting is clinically necessary — for example when assessing AAC, or a child who communicates differently in different environments — an additional assessment session is £175, always agreed with you in writing beforehand.

Assessment Package – £425

  • Everything included in the Initial Assessment

  • A written Summary Report of assessment findings

  • Practical, actionable strategies for home and school

  • An accessible format you can share with others involved in your child's care

  • Formal reports are charged at an additional fee depending on the complexity of the case and the purpose of the report.

Therapy and Parent Coaching –

£87.50 per hour

Sessions are 45 or 60 minutes. We agree with you which is right for your child at the start and review it as we go.

  • Our hourly rate is all-inclusive. It covers time spent with your child and time spent on their behalf: direct sessions in person and virtually, parent coaching, report and programme writing, attending meetings, reading documents, language and video transcription and analysis, and preparing personalised resources.

  • Every appointment also involves 30 minutes to an hour of planning, preparation, analysis and record-keeping. This is already included in the hourly rate and is not charged separately.

Reports & Other Services

  • Summary Report — £140, included within the Assessment Package

  • Detailed Report — from £525, suitable where an Individual Development Plan (IDP) is being requested or reviewed

  • Assessment Package and Detailed Report booked together — from £875

  • Reports for the Education Tribunal for Wales — quoted individually, subject to a separate letter of engagement


    Other Chargeable Work

  • Charged at our hourly rate in 15-minute blocks, always agreed with you in advance: attending IDP meetings, school reviews and multi-disciplinary meetings; reading reports and draft Individual Development Plans; creating personalised resources such as communication books, core boards, symbol sets and aided language displays; programme writing and written intervention plans.

Blocks of six sessions booked and paid for in full in advance receive a 10% discount — £472.50 for six 60-minute sessions, or £354.40 for six 45-minute sessions. Blocks are agreed with you in writing before booking, and our usual cancellation terms apply to each session within the block.

Payment & Terms

All fees are agreed with you in writing before any work begins.

Initial assessments are invoiced on completion of the assessment.

All other services are invoiced at the end of each calendar month, due within 7 days.

Travel within 10 miles of the therapist's base is free. Beyond that, travel charges may apply.

Cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice are free of charge. Less than 24 hours, the full appointment fee applies.
